Pets of Hubitat

Their originating Canadian province (Newfoundland) is pretty close to here! These are quite the big and furry dogs!

Since I’m allergic to dogs, we have been lucky enough to have a Labra-doodle and now a Golden-Doodle. The Labra-doodle was a great dog, but not very bright. She passed after 7 years which is pretty young!

We now have Stellie, a Golden-Doodle and she is super bright! And an excellent friend to all.

Here she is waiting for me to walk her…

As someone who owns a German Shephard, you, more than most, can get away with that

Shouldn’t it be the opposite? He could say, from experience, that GSD suck… but not sure of the contrary…

I can attest that Golden-Doodle are the best types of dogs! Best of all worlds! Good size, super intelligent, don’t shed, well behaved, tend not to be scary to most people, great with kids, etc.

Lol... All in jest... For those that choose to split hairs over the details of someone's network configuration... I don't think any of us are likely to own the "toughest dog in the neighbourhood"... I'm sure Rick is even more than a softie than the rest of us.... He is just over-compensating with his persona here on the Community...

It did, thank you. Cutie pie...

Thanks as well! Didn't realize what a popular name it is.

That's actually how I've always imagined how you look when you're reading the forum...

100% :+1: :+1: All our dogs have been and will be rescues. My wife prefers rescues, that's how she found me...

This is Eddie an Australian Kelpie. He's just been playing with his fish mates and now needs a good relax on the couch.

Catch and release, or ??

Fish don't seem to recognize him as a threat...I guess they really are his mates.

Ooooo...someone ate his Wheaties today. Good on ya, as they might say.

Since we're on the subject of Australia... here's my buddy Camo when he was about a year old. He passed away 2 years ago at 13.

He was asking me if he could go swimming in the Niagara River.

This is Otis, he's a stray that Camo sent to us, he likes to lay the same way!

He also likes watching Cat TV on youtube

My wife thinks your pets are over-sharing.

She only wants female dogs. Has a decent reason...when she rubs their tummies she doesn't want to run into any, shall we say, obstacles.
