The first time I installed iBlinds it was a struggle to pair them. I had to carry the blinds into the room with the Hubitat or move the Hubitat near the blinds with a long ethernet cable. This was the C7 hub.
I installed a new iBlind motor this morning but I paired the motor to my C8 hub in the same room as the hub before I installed the motor into the blind. Highly recommended! The C8 hub might have helped as well.
I never had to do that but I had good repeaters nearby.
I did have to fiddle with the original iBlinds but my replacement v3.1's were no problem.
I just wish the would link at 100k but they never do. Always 40K even though they are ZW+
Almost never DIRECT (5 blinds) but today the ZW Gods are smiling, I have 2 that are DIRECT but that won't last long.
