Pair Centralite Leak Sensor

Hi,

I have several Centralite Leak Sensors that I had paired to Wink. I took them out of Wink properly and have done factory reset on them but they won't pair to Hubitat with the generic Zigbee or the generic Zigbee leak sensor settings.

Does anybody have any possible solutions for getting these to pair?

Thanks,
John

I have two of these:

  • firmwareMT: C2DF-000B-10015100
  • manufacturer: CentraLite
  • model: 3315-S
  • softwareBuild: 10015100

Is that the model you have?

Both paired immediately and function well. I use the Generic Zigbee Moisture Sensor driver.

Yes, this is what I have the 3315. I had them in my Wink setup and they paired perfectly. Now that I have Hubitat I have done the factory reset and I am using that same driver but no-go for any of them...

Is the Wink still turned on? Are they (possibly) on the same Zigbee channel?

WInk has been sent to recycling heaven!

OK, that removes that possibility!

Re-reading your initial post - I don't understand what you have done. You say you paired ". . . with the generic Zigbee or the generic Zigbee leak sensor settings." I wouldn't think you would see the driver until the device has paired . . . would you step through what you have done to pair these up?

Are you trying this procedure:

Join instructions
Select the Start Zigbee Pairing button.
Remove the cover of the Moisture Sensor.
Remove the CR2 battery by pulling the ribbon.
Hold the Connect button while inserting the battery.
Release the button once the LED is lit.
The LED will flash blue while attempting to connect.
Wait for the pairing process to end and the device is successfully paired.

I just paired one of those.
Are you on a c-8 with a relatively new firmware?
You may have to pair with the "avoid Zigbee 3.0 repeaters" option.

I am on a C8 and I can't get the Zigbee pairing to work even with the above instructions, which is what I was doing anyway.

Are you holding down the pair button while inserting the battery? If I remember correctly, I had to do a factory reset (hold down the pairing button while inserting the battery), then remove the battery for around 30 seconds, then hold down the pairing button and reinsert the battery (while the hub is looking for new devices).

I only have one of these, but it's always been a little bit of a pain to pair. One of the reasons I've never bought more than one (aside from the fact that it was expensive, uses a CR2 and has no light and no sound on leak detection).
