Override a routine with another routine

Good morning friends,
How do I make a routine so that it overrides another routine by pressing a button?

A Rule Machine Rule can be used to pause/unpause another. Is this what you are looking to do?

I already found the route but the list of my basic routines does not appear to select and cancel it.

Try selecting “Basic Rules” from the “Select rule type to pause” drop down:

If friend worked for perfection. Just one more detail.
As I do so that this condition is restrable to the following day or at some time of counting. So that the following day it is activated again and that routine that cancels initially will work again.

It is possible to add a “Wait for condition” or “Wait for event” after the “Pause”. The condition/event can be “Elapsed time” which can be set to 1 day (24 hours):

The end result would look like this:

It is also possible to set a delay to the “Resume Rules” instead of using the “Wait for event”. The difference between the two is that:

Wait for Event (or wait for condition) will cancel if the rule is run again
Delay will schedule the next action and it will run at the scheduled time unless a Cancel command is issued.
