Hi all. I have a few original Xiaomi buttons I'm trying to pair with HE. One is brand new out of the box and the other has previously been set up with the Xiaomi hub. I push the reset button with a paper clip and the button is recognised by HE but permanently showing 'initializing'. The same happens with both. I've changed batteries and kept pushing the reset pin in the hope it'll get past the 'initializing' but no luck. I'm using this driver by @veeceeoh (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/veeceeoh/xiaomi-hubitat/master/devicedrivers/xiaomi-button-hubitat.src/xiaomi-button-hubitat.groovy). Has anyone successfully paired one of these with HE? What am I doing wrong?
You have to keep the button active untill the pairing is comleted. Try bushing the butten every 2 senconds or so.
It's a pain but it should work.
Do you mean the reset button or the button itself?
the button itself... I don't remember the details but activity is key. (On most of Xiaomi's products)

Aha, that worked! Thanks so much. I've been playing with it for a couple of hours with no luck. Really appreciate the help.
