Old GE/Jasco ZW3005 - Forward or Reverse Phase?

Hi folks,

I'm about to rip out all of my GE/Jasco Z-Wave devices are replace them with a combination of Inovelli and Zooz. I've had nothing but problems with the ZW3010s and ZWA3016ENBs - dimmers dying (all of them may have been from one bad manufacturing lot), lights flickering, etc.

However, my very old ZW3005 dimmers seem to work with any non-ELV LED I try. This includes some LED sconces from Modern Forms that are only recommended for use with reverse phase dimmers.

Does anybody know if the old ZW3005s are MOSFET or TRIAC or Reverse or Forward phase?

I can't find the info anywhere. I haven't tried calling Jasco - I've had mixed luck getting technical folks on the line there.

Thanks,

Aron

Thanks! I suppose that even with the TRIAC, it could be doing trailing-edge/reverse-phase dimming. Perhaps somebody knows for sure? I don't have an oscilloscope handy to check it myself.

It'll be interesting to see if the Zooz ZEN72 works as well with those lights as the ZW3005. I'd like to be completely rid of Jasco. The Inovelli dimmers, which can do trailing or leading edge, are twice the price of what I just paid for the Zooz dimmers.
