NX1000 / Evolve1 - Configuration

recently moved from Vera to Hubitat, and have hit a wall in getting my Nx1000 / Evolve1 set up correctly.
Ive installed the driver in github by @wayne.pirtle
I've successfully updated button text, but after spending a full day trying to get actions to trigger consistently without success, wanted to reach out to the community for assistance.

A few questions:

  1. in @wayne.pirtle code, is there a mechanism to select which devices are impacted by each button push?
  2. Assuming the answer to #1 is 'no', what are the best practices for mapping button pushes to actions.
  3. Can button presses be mapped to Scenes? (can i create a scene in the Groups/Scenes App, and then call that scene via a button push from the NX1000?)

thanks for any help you can provide...and if there's a better place to post, please just let me know...

thanks!

Brian

Hi, @brian.kane! Welcome to Hubitat.

The driver I created exposes the NX1000 as a 15-button controller. To effect an action, I suggest using the Basic Button Controller app that the Hubitat team built. It will let you actuate devices and scenes on the press of a button on your NX1000.

Since I created that driver, the Hubitat has a delivered driver for the NX1000/Evolve1. It also recognizes the NX1000 as a 15-button controller. I would also give that a try, because it will be updated if necessary. I use it and it works well.
