Nue switch not discovering correctly

I have a Hubitat C8 hub (formerly had the Hue, now unsupported zigbee hub) and am trying to get my Nue smart light switches added. The newer 2024 model 3 gang Nue light switches are adding correctly with all 3 gangs visible, however the older 2019/20 3 gang and 2 gang switches only add through Zigbee discovery as a single gang. My understanding is that this is because the device handler for the older Nue smart light switches is missing from the Hubitat hub. Does anyone have the method and code to add to the Hubitat hub to allow the older pre 2020 Nue smart switches to be discovered correctly?

Hi @cameronmarshall , welcome to to Hubitat community forum!

To ensure proper recognition of the Nue switches, Hubitat requires the exact "fingerprints" of these devices. You can find this information on the device's web page, located at the bottom of the "Device Info" tab under the "Device Data" section. The fingerprints will be displayed in this area

Could you please provide the fingerprints of the devices that are not recognized correctly, along with a comment on the actual number of gangs that each device has?

P.S. to be able to post screenshots you may need to join this forum 'Owners Group.'

Hi @kkossev, many thanks for your follow up.

Please see the screenshots below for the Nue 2 gang and 3 gang light switches not correctly discovering on the habitat C8 hub ( only 1 gang installed).

Are you using the built-in 'Nue Zigbee Switch' driver ?

Yes I am, though I have to manually change it ‘Nue zigbee switch’. When it is discovered however it sets to ‘generic zigbee switch’. The issue I am having with the older Nue 2/3 gang switches is that it only discovers one gang and I don’t know how to add the other gangs. With the newer Nue 3 gang switch it automatically detects all 3 gangs. I guess that this is because the Hubitat hub has the fingerprint for this switch programmed. Is there any way I can add the fingerprint for the old Nue 2/3 gang switches to the Hubitat hub?

Specifically the older 2 and 3 gang Nue switches apparently not recognised by the Hubitat hub are the following:

Feibit Inc co FB56+ZSW1KJ2.5 (3 gang)
Feibit Inc co FB56+ZSW1HKJ2.5 (2 gang)

After you changed drivers, did you click the "Configure button"?

Yes, however I still can’t see all gangs on the 3 gang switch.

Update: All Nue 2/3 smart switch gangs now Zigbee discovering correctly after downloading Hubitat Package Mananger to the hub. Switch type is ‘Nue Zigbee switch’.
