I recently upgrade to FiOS 1G connection. However my NR test shows download of around 500Mb and upload of 250Mb. If I run a speed test on the Mac that runs NR I get about 800mb both ways. Is there a reason the NR test are so far off?

I think it’s the speedtest-cli package itself, which node-red uses. I’ve noticed it seems to give slower results than most speedtests executed in a browser window.

I have high speed 1gb fios. The browser tests are not the best, get the speed test app and load it on the PC. Additionally ,Verizon can't deliver 1 gig consistently, at least in the east coast where I am. Depending on the time of day, my speeds vary. Always 1 gig upload but downloads vary in speed from ~400 - 950 and always faster at off hours, 3am, 4am, 5am.
