I am having a weird issue with notifications. The ones I created have disappeared and I when I try to recreate them I can go through the normal process, hit “done” and then nothing. The app list shows no created notifications at all. I did send an email to support since I thought they should know about this, but anyone else see this happening?
Thanks as always to those who make this community awesome!
One more thing. I had a few active notifications on the hub for a long time. They have all disappeared. I also tried restoring from previous backups. It clearly restores, but the notifications that were part of those backups are missing.
Even weirder! I had recreated some notifications, and in spite of them not showing up in the list, they appear to be working. the Testr\ notification was created yesterday and triggered this morning. Also, I see on the app stats page that there are now multiple copies of the notifications I previously created…looks like when they were created they exist, but just do not show up in the app page. Attached are the app page and the app stats page.
Can you open a Private/Anonymous browser window and check the status of your apps? Because I wonder if you've run into some weird browser cache issue that is causing a display error.
Well, this is interesting and the problem is solved. When I used Safari on IOS, I only saw the Notification app. When I used Chrome, I saw all the notifications. Well, I am a bit red faced. In using the Hubitat for a couple years, I somehow never noticed that the notification list can be expanded or collapsed. Somehow it was collapsed on Safari, but expanded on Chrome.
Good lord! Thanks for all the help. I am declaring victory!
