yep, it will not repeat in RM either
maybe my C8 firmware is corrupt, maybe the next step is to start over. I have other C7 and C8s working great, it's just the brand new one with this issue

How about clicking the gear icon in the app, and see if settings, states, or whatever make sense?
It behaves as if repeat is not checked and only notifies at the default once per incident.
To all:
This morning I decided to start over, I did a back up of my C8, then did a soft reset, then updated the firmware to latest, then uploaded my backed up C8 file, then rebooted C8, and it is now repeating.
For now it's working. I just wanted to share what I did to fix my issue, it is now working.
If it stops, I will report

Soft reset? That's not starting over, is it?
You said at one point you had the latest firmware-I don't think a soft reset wipes that out.
Something was corrupted, I guess.
Whatever, the important thing is, it's working!
not sure it was corrupt or not, but the soft reset, reloading finally got the notification app to repeat. I just wanted to let others know what made it work. Hope this can help someone one day.

That basically repairs the database. If you had rebooted and picked repair it would likely have had the same effect.
