I have a Dome water sensor and a Water Cop valve connected. I tried to create a rule to activate the valve when the water sensor detected water. However, I was not able to create the rule because I did not get the drop-down menu to select the trigger. Then I tried to remove the Rule Machine app with no success.

Welcome aboard.
To the left of the rule you will see a settings cog.
If you click on it and scroll to the bottom you see see a button to delete the app.
Do you have any rule in RM? Maybe remove the rule first then delete RM. Also try a hub reboot as well. If all else failed and you have can't wait for support. Restore a previous backup.
This is the first rule I was trying to create. I have rebooted the hub a couple of times and do not have a back-up of the configuration.
I have just gotten my Hubitat a few days ago and trying to get devices connected a little at a time and get one rule created.
"Bing" isn't a browser, but perhaps you meant Edge, which isn't supported. If the "other browser" is Internet Explorer, that's not supported either. Firefox or Chrome both work well, and if you really can't use the regular "Remove" button, the one from the cogs as suggested above should work. If none of them does, make sure you're not using ad-blockers, disabling Javascript (just on Hubitat's specific hostname/URL), or doing anything that might interfere with the operation of these pages.
The other browser was Google, not Chrome as suggested, my fault. I downloaded FireFox and it seems to be working. I appreciate the information about the Edge/Explorer, I did not realize. Thanks for all the help from everyone.
Google, like Bing, is also not a browser, but I'm even more confused now since Google Chrome sounds like the browser you were using in both cases (this is the typical "<manufacturer> <product name>" naming scheme, as in "Honda Civic," and it's often shortened to just the product name--e.g., we usually say Windows instead of Microsoft Windows). In any case, also glad you got it working.
Edge--the default browser in Windows 10--will probably work with Hubitat (unofficially if not officially) in the future when they switch over to the same rendering engine Chrome uses. For now, your luck may vary, but I'd stick to the official recommendations just to be safe. The most common symptoms are the inability to click buttons, for whatever reason.
