C8-Pro (new) - latest firmware, no devices added yet - Platform: 2.4.3.137
Trying to add rooms - produces message: "No Rooms currently added."
Two attempts - search field shows "Search 2 rooms, 0 devices".
(Should devices be added first?)
I think that might be a requirement, IIRC...
You can very easily add a Virtual sensor of some sort as a test, to see if that then allows the creation of Rooms.
That did it. (Thank you). Two devices were added and the two rooms that were recorded (without devices) appeared, carrying the names assigned to them when they were added. The two devices appeared under "Unassigned". The two original rooms were successfully removed. A new room was successfully added and the devices were assigned to same. Once all devices are removed, all rooms disappear and the search field continues to show the number of rooms that were once visible. (A room with a duplicate name, added after all devices were removed, appeared once devices were (re)added - two rooms named "Kitchen". One instance removed (one room remaining) - search field still displays "2 rooms".
