No response after update

Hello everyone. I have applied the latest update to the HE but now the system is not responding. There is no blue light or indication of life. I have sent an email to support, but also wanted to get any feedback from the community.

I have tried to:

Unplug unit for a few hours
Move to another wall outlet and router

But no status LED concerns me. Any method to try to force reset? Is the unit bricked from the update?

The first couple of things you can try.

  1. Can you see the hub on https://portal.hubitat.com/

  2. Can you see anything on http://yourhubip:8081/

Then take things from there.

Nothing found with Portal. I also tried the IP address with 8081 port.

The router can tell when the HE is plugged in or not. If its plugged in, shows LED for that port in router.

Not seeing it in router client view.

Is your power supply OK?
Ethernet cable OK?
Just trying to help you eliminate things.

I would raise a ticket in parallel with people on here offering advice.

Just tried new power source/cable and network cable. Still no LED light or able to reach.

I have sent an email to support. Was hoping maybe there was a system reset trick or something else. But it really seems dead. Only 2 weeks old.... Just migrated everything over last weekend. Go figure! Sadly I didn't make a backup ..so i guess I'll be starting from scratch again this weekend :frowning:

I did agree to the update from the mobile app. Maybe that was a bad idea!

Do you mean from the hub UI on your mobile device? How would you accept the update in the mobile app?

I'm almost certain I was on my phone when I was tempted by the update! I was on the local LAN mode.

But if it's not possible maybe I'm going crazy. Anyway, I'm asking Amazon to send a replacement since I'm within 30 days and haven't gotten a resolution from support yet.
