No problem - but I'm going to replace this Strip Light

As my DIY home project has settled and things just ... work. I've been looking for cleanups and smaller issues.
One recent discovery is a strip light I use. It's the only WiFi device in my home automation - it was left over from my old house and I was just trying to increase the GAF variable. The hub reports an exorbitant amount of total, ms use relative to everything else. (see 1st snap below)

I have already order another Sengled zigbee strip, which does a great RGBW, requires no outside web, and is one less custom driver to keep my eye on...

Not really looking to understand this or make it a complex question - but why would a wifi have such a discrepancy? I've also put the comparison of the Sengled Zigbee RGBW vs the MagicHome Wifi values below as well, which is what I will be replacing the Wifi Strip light with.

And the 3 strip lights

Its going to depends on the driver you are using for the Wifi device and how often you are polling it for updates. Anything you have to poll for updates will have higher metrics because even if the device state does not change you are checking on it constantly.
