My Nexia NX1000 just died. Won’t light up even with fresh batteries.
Went to nexiahome.com and received this message immediately
My NX1000 was purchased from Amazon in January 2021 so it is just out of warranty.
Have a message to the Amazon seller which is Nexia.
Sounds like the parent company made a change but it’s not actually defunct.
Contact Trane about a warranty replacement?
That is an avenue also. Waiting to see what Nexia says.
The NX1000 finally lit up after I posted this. But anytime a Zwave inclusion is started, the NX1000 says ERROR after about 5 seconds. So it was excluded, and HE said it found device and excluded it. Including after this still outputs ERROR on the NX1000 while the Zwave timer counts down in the HE app. At the end of the countdown, the NX1000 is not paired, yet it can be excluded by selecting INCLUDE on the NX1000. It has been reset through the device numerous times. My ADD doesn’t let me concentrate for long on a project before I get aggravated and move on to another.
