NewOne N4003 (Z-Wave) Bonkers

I wanted these things to work out, I really did but my sledge hammer is calling...

So, I've got 6 or 7 of these things, all misbehaving in one way or another. Sometimes they'll just become completely unresponsive and I'll have to force-unpair them, factory reset them several times before I can add them back (and then I end up with ghost devices - which I know how to fix, but I shouldn't have to).

Then there's a couple that act like whatever sensor they're using needs to have some debouncing or proper grounding or something, I'm not really sure, but it'll report a power change of ~15-20 watts at an absurd rate - dozens per second. Suffice to say, no bueno (see the short video). I've tried several drivers with these things, the one for the Zooz Power Switch seems to work the best (over the Minoston one it defaults to - and does the same thing with the power meter).

I'm probably just going to chuck them because this is stupid and bogging down the hub, but figured I'd see if anyone else has seen this before.

The 4003 isn't included on the z-wave alliance product listing and the Amazon reviews seem pretty damning as a whole. Chucking them for a more proven solution may be the wisest move.

Sigh... get what you pay for I guess... I didn't even think to check the z-wave alliance lists. Thanks for checking that for me.
