Newbie question about simple lighting

I just started and hooked up only 2 devices from my older system to make sure they work. I connected 2 switches and the will both turn on and off from the dashboard. Using simple lighting I wrote a rule for one to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise. I wrote a rule for the second one based on specific time. Nothing happens. Is there something I need to do to have it run the rules?

There shouldn't be. Share a screenshot of the app (with the settings you chose) if you feel comfortable doing so? Maybe there's something wrong.

It worked. Not exactly on the right time relative to sunset, but it worked.

If you want to know what time is sunrise and sunset according to your hub go into your settings > Locations and there it's listed (of course this changes a bit daily)

Thanks. For some reason it has our location as in the Midwest even though the zip code I put in is in Texas

If you drag and drop the hub icon on the map to the correct location it should update it.
