OK here's the problem I installed habitat hub and echo together everything worked really good and I could turn all of things on and off with just voice commands....then I had an issue with a plug unit that turned a light on and off and I had to reset it
I reinstalled it in habitat no problem! Then I ask echo to discover the device and it told me did not exist.
Thinking that the device was defective I retrieved a plug unit from another part of the house that was working correctly I reset the device for its new location to control a light and now Echo will not recognize this device.
has anyone had a problem like this and what was the solution.

If you’re removing it and re adding the plug make sure you go into the Alexa app and select the device.

Although it might be unnecessary, I just want to clarify that @mik3 is referring to the Alexa Skill on your Hubitat Elevation and not the Alexa mobile app on your phone ....
