Hi, I am trying to reply to an existing thread, and I can't reply even to thank the person that helped me,
can mods please revisit this restriction for new users? I mean what is the point of limiting replies from new users to 3 replies? That seems arbitrary and capricious. If you can't do away with the policy, can you please remove this restriction for my user account?
Here is the thread:
DAMN IT, I can't even include a link to the thread in this post due to another silly and capricious new user restriction.
here's the thread title for the thread in support / devices

I want to thank the person that responded to me for his help, can't even do that, can't edit my previous responses either.
it's a way to prevent bots from creating tons of fake accounts and spamming the forums. just be patient and you'll get your trusted level and can post as much as you want
Hello, like mentioned, many forums do this now for Spam prevention. Once you have enough posts, or a certain time elapses, you will have more permissions.
You also can contact support to get upgraded sooner if things are time sensitive, like you are in the middle of diagnosing an issue.
