New router, no phone notifications

Hi everyone,

I knew I was getting in a little over my head with a Hubitat, and I've stumbled my way through some rudimentary automations, but now I need some help.

After some internet troubles, I purchased a new router to replace the ISP supplied one, a Netgear AX1800 Wifi 6 to be specific. While switching the routers, I kept my HE powered one the whole time. I've got all of my devices switched to the new router's network, and I've confirmed that automations are working. I have found the HE's new IP address and reserved it to be static through the router's web interface. I can control all of my smart devices from the Hubitat app on my phone, lock/unlock the door, turn on/off a lamp controlled by a plug, and check the status of a temp sensor and garage sensor.

However, some of the automations include sending a notification to my phone, which hasn't been happening since the switch. I am in need of some guidance on how to resolve this issue. Please ELI5 as best you can, IT, etc. is not my strong point, and I am trying to learn as I go. Thanks!

Have you tried simply rebooting your Hubitat hub via its Settings menu? It might simply need to reconnect to Hubitat’s cloud server, which handles connectivity with your phone’s Hubitat Mobile App for Notifications.

If you logged out of the Hubitat Mobile App, make sure when you log back in, that you select the existing phone “device” on your Hubitat hub. Do not create a new one, as that new device will be a new, unique one that is not the one referenced in all of your Hubitat Hub’s Apps.

Thanks for your reply! I had rebooted the hub several times, but with no success. Your second suggestion did lead me to the solution, though. I don't think I had ever logged out of the app through the whole ordeal. So after a quick logout and log back in, it worked! A simple solution for a simple boy. Thanks for leading me to the answer!
