Do you have any specific requirements? If not, using devices that are "natively" compatible with Hubitat (known to work with built-in drivers) is a good place to start, and the best place to find that information is this list:
https://docs.hubitat.com/index.php?title=List_of_Compatible_Devices
You can click the "Device Type" column to sort on that, then look for "Contact Sensor" there to find just the kind of devices that you're talking about. Then, maybe find if/where you can buy some of those devices and if they have any specific features (size, price, etc.) that are appealing to you. Personally, I don't have any strong preferences for contact sensors (I'm a bit pickier with motion sensors...), so I'd normally just go with whatever I can find for a reasonable price that doesn't look too ugly for whatever I'm using it for.
Another consideration you may want to think about: protocol. Most of these devices are Zigbee or Z-Wave devices, which create their own mesh networks. Powered devices (not battery devices), like outlets, switches, or dimmers generally act as "repeaters" to strengthen your mesh and extend its range. So, if you have a good mesh already or are planning on building one out with a specific protocol in mind for powered devices, you may have better luck matching your battery devices to the same protocol. I'd say most people use both, so there's no reason to stick to just one--but if your Z-Wave or Zigbee networks are small (or non-existent), a bit of planning might be helpful if you're just starting out.
Good luck!
