Hello all. Every time I log out of the android app and log back in.. the system creates a new device in hubitat. Even though I select my previously created device for my phone, it still creates a new device in the list of the desktop interface. This is breaking my presence monitoring and I cant seem to troubleshoot it. Any help is appreciated.
I see the same behavior. Creates new device w same name, but a different DNI. Doesn't affect rules, since the DNI is unique.
I had similar problems - I noted it occurred if I changed the name of my device at the moment of create. I expected to see the hubitat device show whatever name I gave it in the app - even capitilization caused a problem. I left the initial name alone and was rewarded with success. In the end, I changed the name within the Hubitat but left the name in the android app alone.
