New C8 is dead on arrival

Just received a new C8 directly from Hubitat and was following the initial setup tutorial, except there are no lights or signs of life on the device once powered up. The led on the side of the case is dark and there are no connection or activity lights on the ethernet port either.

I've verified the supplied power supply and USB cable are working as expected with another USB-C device, and also double checked that alternate USB-C cables and power supplies have the same result. I've also tried using the reset button underneath the device with a paperclip, but no deal.

This hub is no more! It has ceased to be! If it wasn't sitting on my desk it'd be pushing up the daisies!

This is my first experience with Hubitat, and therefore first impression,,, I've also Googled around and found several other people in the last few weeks reporting identical experiences, so I'm not sure if I should start a return or hope a replacement works?

DOA issues are rare, but they can happen w/electronics, unfortunately.

Started a warranty replacement request immediately after posting my issue, but as of now, I have not received any contact or response from Hubitat. I'm starting to think perhaps this was a mistake and I should just request a refund.

First post was Saturday, IIRC, warranty request recently entered, it's relatively early on Monday. I think it's a little early to pull the rip cord, but everybody has their own tolerances and you can choose to bail if you want of course. I expect that you will hear from HE team soon.
