New C-7 zigbee issues

I am having hard time connecting zigbee devices to new C-7 hub. I also have c3 and c4, no problem with those, Zigbee will connect almost instantly. I managed to connect two xbees to C7 with hope that will help, but no. Can't connect third xbee and almost all sensors. Any ideas?

What sensor type and brand? Could be channel related.

Iris motion and door, Samsung smart button , Xbee , I switched channels, no go. The finny part that only sensors that will connect are Xiaomi. Can't connect third Xbee, no matter what I do. Same Xbee connects to two other hubs in seconds...

Is your hub on the latest firmware (2.3.0.121)? It fixed a Zigbee issue.

Yes, it is 2.3.0.121, apparently not fixed. That is very frustrating :frowning:

Might want to call in @bobbyD...

Please send an email to support@hubitat.com so we can make sure you don't have a hidden hardware problem.

Got your ticket. The good news is that you don't have a Zigbee hardware problem, or any hardware issues for the matter. The not so good news, is that it appears some non-compatible devices are giving you troubles and they even may have corrupted your main database. Also noticed that you have added some custom sensors first, before your backbone repeaters. Those may have been added last on previous hubs, but as you are starting with the C7, they keep your Zigbee radio busy, making it harder to add in your mains powered devices. For best experience, you may want to follow the tips in this document:

As for database corruption, please perform a Soft Reset with restore by following this document:

https://docs.hubitat.com/index.php?title=Soft_Reset

After running the reset, please screen your Logs to make sure no devices/integrations are spinning errors out of control.

Could you be more specific which custom sensors keep zigbee radio busy? First I added 2 Xbee to be main repeaters , could not add third, the reason why I did it , because before that, I could not add any zigbee sensors at all. In regards to database corruption, I've done soft reset 3 hours ago..

You should have more details about specific devices and/or integrations that are throwing errors in your Logs (past Logs). Glad you had performed the Soft Reset. are you seeing any errors in your Logs? If you are, I would address those first. That would clear the engineering logs, so that it may reveal other issues, which we couldn't see the first time we looked.
