New Bosch motion sensor won't join

I have been using the new Bosch Zigbee Tritech motion sensor -- model RFDL-ZB-MS. (Purchased from Lowes.)

I joined one of these previously and set it to use the built-in Bosch Motion Sensor driver. That joined and has been working fine for the last few weeks.

Now, I'm attempting to add a new one (same model) and getting stuck on "Initializing" on the Join page.

Troubleshooting attempted so far:

  • Reboot the hub
  • Factory re-initialize the device
  • Join within 3 feet of the hub

No dice.

Any thoughts?

Solved -- by retrying the join process enough times.

Sidenote: this sensor is far smaller than the previous Bosch motion sensor, and also has PIR + Radar. Pretty slick.
