Migrating over from ST and I am having trouble with an IFTTT integration. I have a hubitat Virtual Switch created. I have an applet that is set to turn on the VS when my MYQ garage door opens. Did my first test run and no joy.
Whats the best way to trouble shoot this stuff?
So did a little testing from the portal. If I turn on the VS from the portal then the IFTTT applet runs fine. It actually turns the lights on freaking fast like less than a second. Interesting, if i toggle the VS off it takes a bit longer to turn off but no worries. So im thinking the issue must be from MYQ talking to Hubitat to turn on that VS.
Hopped on IFTTT portal and it says the applet has never been ran on one garage door and the other garage door it says it has ran once but again its not triggering on the Hubitat VS! I have opened the garage door like 10 times! wtf?
well it started working today. maybe it just take a bit of time to get things talking.
IFTTT just isn't that reliable or consistent any time I have tried it. You would be far better just buying a tilt sensor. That is really the only way to get live feedback from the door.
