I am trying to set up a notification when someone leaves or arrives. I can't figure out how to get it to identify the person . currently it reads
%presence% has left home at%time%%date%
I Get
null has left home at 0953 January 15,2023.*
I'm guessing the %presence% is the problem. I have also tried %user%. Any ideas?? Thanks!
How about %device%?

Humm hadn't thought about that one. Feels odd, but that may be what makes it work! Ill give it a try this afternoon!
Well... it should display the name of the device that triggered the notification. So you might get something like "Clay's iPhone has left" or whatever but you could always just rename the device,.
Yea, that’s what I had done. I ended-up creating a presence device each for those in the house with their names as the device name and an app to sync them. It worked perfectly with %device%.
