Can anyone tell what kind of device this is from the picture? It is a door sensor that was originally on a Ranger Tech (guardian) system now In a Vivint system. More curiosity than anything else at this point.
It must be very old, the battery wasn't made in China!
Dunno.. The house it is in is only 2 years old.
Has Ecolink 60360 on the board. Looks like an Ecolink contact sensor. Not sure about the length of that antenna. The antenna wavelength looks strange. It could be a 2.4Ghz antenna whose 1/4 wave would be 1.23 inches, maybe its WiFi or zigbee. I don't know though judging by the size of the CR2032 battery that doesn't look right either. I was thinking that Ecolink only made Zwave stuff.
Can you scan the barcode for info?
I tried a online barcode scanner. Result was *0ACC151
Any labels on the back of the casing? Serial number maybe?
Most ecolink stuff you can exclude by taking out the battery, wait 5 seconds, put the battery in and start exclusion mode on HE to see if it excludes. Then re include it and see if it's id'd in the fingerprint
As a radio transmitting device, it is required to have an FCC ID somewhere on it.
Looks like this is what it is. Doesn't specifically say what platform it is, only 319. 5 mhz. No idea what that is.

Just for future knowledge, is the antenna that wire piece that runs around the side and bottom?
Yes that is the antenna.... the squared off wire piece.
- 5 mhz is a frequency used by Interlogix. That explains why the antenna length on the board was an odd length. I believe that Interlogix uses a proprietary protocol.
Most stuff these days is either in the 900mhz or 2,4ghz range. Lutron uses 434mhz, I believe.
