Need help with hub locking up

Hub is constantly locking up and having to be cycled! It was doing this a few versions ago then was great for two weeks. It then started again after the last update. THis is getting old as i come home to no lights on and no sensors sensing

No doubt. However, fixing it will need some data. And perhaps assistance from @support_team.

To start with - what does locking up look like? Is the hub's LED green? If it is green, do you have the hub on a network segment where devices use jumbo frames? Can you disable jumbo frames on that LAN segment - they are known to lock the hub's network interface.

Have you tried performing a soft reset?

What kinds of devices do you have? Any z-wave ghosts? Any cloud/LAN integrations that poll frequently? When you restart the hub, are there any indications from the Past Logs?

Thanks for responding . I will have have to see if jumbo frames are enabled. No i did not do a soft reset. it was working find until and update. Then it was experincing the issues, then cleared up with another update just to return after the last one.

Jumbo frames is disabled on the Cisco Switch

I would try this first. Using the instructions that I linked to previously. I suggest making a backup and downloading it before doing a soft reset.

I’ve also seen some app cause slow down issues. The “App Stats” under the Logs screen can help determine which ones are problematic if this is the root cause…

I rolled back to 2.3.4.138 last night. Ill see if the hub is responsive tonight
