I have this rule that whenever the HSM is set to Armed Away, my front foyer motion sensor will activate with a warning when it detects motion. The issue is that when I'm away and the robot vacuum is doing the cleaning, the alert will go off whenever the vacuum passes by the motion sensor.

I'm currently using the Deebot X1 Omni which is compatible with Alexa. Can someone assist me in how I can create a rule that will disable the motion sensor when the robot vacuum is in operation and re-enable the motion sensor once the vacuuming is completed? Is this possible?

Anyway to attach a contact sensor that would open when the robot pulls off of it's base?

If it's on a schedule then you could use that info to disable during clean time.

Also if you start it via Alexa you could create a Alexa routine to trigger a rule to disable the sensor.
