Need help making a hue dimmer control a ge dimmer (in hubitat)

I have a hubitat as well as home assistant and node red.
Last time I just connected the dimmer to hubitat as zigbee and used rule machine, but it was EXTREMELY buggy. Is there a better way? Maybe use the hubitat h.a to node red? @aaiyar

Make sure this isn't a zigbee mesh issue ....

Rule machine is buggy as well. Iā€™d rather not use it. Does the dimmer go into the h.e, h.a intergration? Iā€™d much rather use node red
