I want to use a Zooz ZEN-16 Multi-Relay to detect the state of a remote relay that is controlled by a physical switch. I want to display the relay state on a dashboard. I do not want an icon that allows state to be changed from that dashboard since I am not controlling the remote relay itself ... I want display-only with no action. I tried a few things (virtual switch, virtual contact sensor, variable) but couldn't get them to do what I want. Any ideas? Thanks.
On the dashboard, select the device then picking attribute in template, then pick 'switch' (or whatever attribute it shows) - this may work. I just tried on one of my devices and it shows the state but is not changeable if i click it.
