Need Advice on a wall switch that may be going out

C7 with 2.3.6.146

I've got a wall dimmer switch that I think may be going out. It is a Leviton DZ6HD. It came on by itself last week, And then a few days later it didn't come on when it was supposed to. No other anomalies are happening in my system. Logs are clean.

Are there some things to try before replacing it? Like maybe power cycling or exclude/include? The switch is about 3 years old.

If you have it shared to Alexa, hunches could have turned it off. If you search the forums for Alexa hunches you will get more info.

Not turning on... did it just happen once and then another try worked? Was it from the paddle or from a hub command? If it just started working again on its own I would say it was a temporary mesh issue. If you have to power cycle the device to get it working again then its firmware locked up.

I have a very simple setup, I don't use Alexa or other external sources. It did not turn on last night (yes just once so far) which should have via a "dusk" RM rule. A few days ago it was ON in the middle of the night, I don't know when it turned on but is was on at 5AM when I woke up. BTW it works fine from the paddle and seems to report its state properly in the logs.

Well, things are not right with my C7 setup. It's been running without issue for close to 3 years, and all of a sudden a random switch doesn't turn off when it's supposed to (via RM/Basic).

I've enabled text info logging for all devices hoping to spot something. I;ve also done a soft reset. Should I roll back Hubitat version as well? Like I said, no problems for 3 years until this week.
