Native app feature growth

So John, what’s at the top of your list?

Sonos integration?

I’m sure @jtp10181 keeps a short list.

@bbrannon had a specific feature in mind for Ecobee integration.

@bill.d mentioned Inovelli switches. Although @danabw also pointed out that some built-in drivers were deliberately designed not to support all possible device parameters as a UX decision.

I feel like Bond was pushed out and updated once, then fell by the wayside. I know there are things that the old community one still do better than the built in one. The Hubitat version has the advantage of using the newer API, so I am using that since it mostly works with the devices I have.

Also the Alexa integration is very basic. We have very limited control over how the devices get sent to Alexa compared to something newer like the Home integration were there is very granular control over what gets sent to Apple Home.

That's what comes to mind off the top of my head. I use very little system drivers and apps. For many things there is a better community option, and they are also not a black box so I can make tweaks myself if needed.

Some good choices listed already, e.g. Sonos and Alexa. I'll add Group control for Sonos (define, set) as a pivotal feature for noise containment, WAF, etc. I generally have no issue using the community apps/drivers, but there's a slight worry if my dependency grows larger as community continuation wanes.
