My Kwikset 910 stopped working

After I did the last update on April 4th for the hub I noticed that my Kwikset stopped reporting.

I tried to do a zwave repair about 6 times - waited a day - attempted to get any status like locking the door and even trying to hit refresh in the device page but no go.

So I removed it from the hub using the exclusion and then ran another zwave repair.

Paired it back but noticed that its never paired zwaveSecurePairingComplete: true -- in fact zwaveSecurePairingComplete isn't even in the data section of the device.

Not sure what to do now. Logs show no communications to the lock.

You must exclude it and reset, then pair it to get the secure pair, without that it will not work.
Try in z wave settings using all devices in secure mode to pair it.

Reset the lock ?

Yes, it should have a reset procedure, but if not then excluding it correctly should be fine.

I had to reset the lock and force secure pairing as you suggested.

What a pain.
