My C8 to C8 Pro migration went super smooth. Way better than my C7 to C8 (I had to rebuild all my z-wave devices).
I first rebooted my C8 and rebuilt the database and cleared the logs. Then I did a full shut down. Waited 30 seconds and powered up my C8. Waited about 10 minute for things to settle down. Then I did a cloud back up.
Once the cloud back up was done. I powered down my C8 and power upped my C8 Pro. I did the firmware update and then did the restore form cloud back up.
Only thing I had to redo is disable and then re-enable the Alexia skill.
