My C5 is bricked following a soft reset

I had started receiving messages in the Android app to the effect that messages were taking up and increasing amount of space, over a gigabyte by this morning. I followed the instructions in the message, took a local backup, which was successful, did a soft reset and rebooted. Now I'm getting 500 errors no matter what I try to do and I cannot restore the backup.

Repeat the soft reset.

The only thing I can do is recycle power, which I did, has no matter what I do in the app or via a browser I get the 500 error. I can't do the soft reset because I can't get into settings.

Yeah. As you were typing that, I remembered the diagnostic tools. I can get to it, and I'll try that now and post the results back to this thread.
