I had a router failure and had to setup a new one. This changed my IP on the hub to 192.168.1.228. Previously registered hub had 192.168.1.29 and was used to link Google home (which uses oAuth). I have reconfigured things so that the hub now has the same IP as before, but the My Account page stills says 'no hubs registered'.
When I do a find hubs, nothing is found, unless I enter the Mac address. The hub will then show up, but with the incorrect IP address (x.x.x.228).
How can I:
Correct the (remote?) registered IP to x.x.x.29?
Get the hub back to show up under my registered hubs?
The ip doesn't matter. I would set a reservation in your new router for your devices but the reason they're not showing up at my.hubitat.com is because they're not connecting to the internet.
Press the reset button on the bottom of both of them with a toothpick or paperclip for 7 seconds. (this will be the only round hole out of all the square ones) See if this corrects it.
"They"?... I only have one hub and don't want to factory reset it.
It is possible it's not able to connect to the internet, but I alreadynhad a dhcp reservation set up. The current ip is x.x.x.29 which is what it should be.
The whole reason for this is so I can connect it to google home.
