Moving devices from SmartThings to Hubitat

I am at the beginning of moving devices from SmartThings to Hubitat. I am only moving a few devices at a time. My question is, how does that affect the mesh and/or the repeater devices that are still connected to SmartThings? Can moving chunks of devices break SmartThings? And once I have all devices moved onto Hubitat, does the mesh automatically heal itself? Is it recommended once all zWave devices are moved to do a zWave repair? And what about zigbee devices?

I don't want to cause a mess on either hub

I found smartthings continued to function with remaining devices just fine. But in my case, most devices will not "remove" from smartthings. Smartthings just gives some error when I try. Glad I left that platform. Now I just have a couple of things still on it and they work fine.

Hubitat on the other hand seems fine with all my z-wave stuff. It's the zigbee devices that keep giving me trouble. Hubitat seems to keep dropping things until I reboot the hub and they all come back. It seems like hubitat is incapable of repairing the zigbee mesh unless you reboot which is a real shame because zigbee worked much much better on smartthings.
