Good evening.

I am trying to create a rule in either Rule Machine or Motion Lighting and not sure which one. Here's what I am trying to accomplish.

Lights are already set to 5% dimmer at night
When motion, set lights to 100% dimmer & 6500K
Wait 5 minutes then return to 5% dimmer with temperature of 2000K.

My LoMP app will indeed get you close if you want to return to either a predetermined state: dimmed or off, every time (you have to configure one of the two in the app, though you can do something different per mode if you want). If you want to capture the then-current state and restore it after your automation brings the lights up to 100%, then if you want to stick to built-in apps (not sure if other community apps can do this), then Rule Machine would probably be what you want. It has "Capture" and "Restore" actions that should do what you want.
