Hi So I have this ML using dim by mode. Its acting strange. See the ML event log, this looks correct, ie it sends the right level at the right time of day based on mode. However the device event log tells a very different story. Obviously, at 23:39 and 05:27, the light should not be going on at 78%.
Why is the device not going to the level it is being told to go to by ML?
The device is a GE 45857 using the GE Zigbee Dimmer driver.

Look at the Edit Device page and make sure there are no other automations affecting this device that could be overriding the level set by motion lighting.
Yep, there aren't. Just a dashboard that no-one is touching, an RM that is triggered by a door contact the isn't happening at night, and device watchdog.
This is actually a bug in the device, however I've fixed it anyway. will be out in 2.1.6
The firmware on jasco zigbee devices is... Problematic. 
Yeah...I'm starting to get that impression as well. I almost bought one a while ago but didn't since I didn't really need it and didn't want to spend the money. I'm thinking I might have avoided a big headache by being cheap. 
there is much worse out there..., like everything Ikea for example...
