Motion Lighting Apps - Separate Fade Time for On and Off

In the Motion Lighting apps, would it be possible to have separate fade times for turning on and turning off?

I'm using Motion Lighting to automate my kitchen lights. It works great. The only thing is that I'd like the lights to come on instantly, but fade off over time. That doesn't seem possible now.

It would also be cool if the fade could be per mode. So, for example, I could have the lights fade off during the day, but go off instantly at night.

Watching, since I made a similar request for Room Lighting transitions, but the answer is "No" on that. It's interesting in theory to have variable Fades by Time / Mode / etc. I had never considered that.
