Is it possible to set dimmer level per mode from the Motion Lighting App?
Use case: Light in master toilet should not come on 100% while mode is sleep - but should be 100% when mode is day.
Has this selection option changed? I cannot seem to locate it.
I see it. However, a bit of a mis-communication on my part.
While I am using this app, I am only using the MODE Option.
I want to perform the same task as the OP, but only in certain modes using physical activation. No motion detection involved.
Mode Lighting only does per mode settings, so that option doesn't exist for it.
So, if I want light levels to change from mode to mode, the light must already be on?
It's not clear what you are trying to do. Mode Lighting is used in rooms where there is no motion sensor, and one turns on the lights with a switch. One switch causes multiple lights to come on to a level that depends on the mode. For example, turning them on in the evening might be a lower level that during the day.
It is possible to have the lights change their level if they are already on when the mode changes. There is an option for that. But this app does not turn on lights due to a mode change, or for anything except the switch being turned on.
YES! Depending on mode, I want the dimmer to come on at a pre-set level upon physical activation of the switch.
Currently, when the mode changes, the lights come on automatically. If they are already on, they also, change levels according to the mode settings. I do not want this.
And, yes, I am not being clear.
