I am so sorry to be a noob with this question, just got a C-7 that I got for Christmas with an Aeotec TriSensor and a Nue Zigbee Switch. Watched all the youtube videos I could find and read through the forum as much as I can find before I created the topic. Running 2.2.4.158, tried doing a soft reset and restore a backup, shut it down for 30minutes and then turned it back on again, deleted and recreated the app a couple of times with different names. Can not get it to turn the light on when the sensor triggers motion.
Setting up a test, basic motion sensor turn hallway light on app.
In the words of Red Foreman feel free to call me a "dumbass" if i missed something obvious.
Let's start by focusing on the motion sensor. Ignore the Motion Lighting App for now. When you bring up the DEVICES -> "Sensor - Office Hallway" web page, can you see a section called "Current States" that looks similar to the following? Note the section circled in RED. With this page still open, do you see the "motion" attribute changing from "active" to "inactive" based on when someone is in front of the sensor and moving, versus when the sensor has had time to stop sensing motion (usually 30-60 seconds of no movement)? This is the first steps to making sure your sensor and hub are communicating properly. Without this working, none of the automations will work.
Not sure why, but it looks like you have two "Hallway Light Outside Office" devices in your logs.
Can you control the light from both device pages? (or is there only one?)
I think we are onto something, the sensor won't change to inactive. I have the sensor sitting on the bench facing the wall with nothing that should trigger it motion wise. It looks like it re-activates every 30 seconds.
