Motion and Mode Lighting Apps: What does turn off with 1 minute delay mean?

Hello,

If I setup a light to go on with motion, and delay off for 1 minute. Does this mean, off after 1 minute regardless whether motion is still active?

Or does it turn off after 1 minute after motion stops?

Also, If before the 1 minute timer elapsed, motion starts again, is the 1 minute timer cancelled?

That will delay off for 1 minute after motion goes inactive.
