For me, specifically I really need a "heat only Thermostat"
In the UK there are very few full HVAC systems - but we have lots of heat on stats that control radiators, underfloor heating, etc.
There is a heat only stat type in Homekit, currently my Heatmiser setup uses it.
I want to use the Advanced Virtual Thermostat custom driver, but I know it can't appear in Homekit officially - however I can sync a virtual device to it, in which case Homekit becomes a visual and vocal control.
However I have no way to add a heat on thermostat to Homekit officially - the virtual stat comes with a fan I can't remove - it comes with modes that don't apply. I need no modes, just an ability to change the temperature.
Would it be either possible to add heat (and perhaps cool) only stats in the official system virtual library or failing that, perhaps the ability to filter those capabilities out in the Homekit integration so it appears as a heat only stat to Homekit?
