Is there a simple way for having a Mode override all other modes? I would like to have my Vacation and Away mode overriding my automatic Afternoon and Evening modes (these are time-based and set shade position and lights adapted to the time of day) so that neither of those are triggered and the house stays in the Vacation/Away modes until I come back home.
It sounds like the "Modes to ignore time changes" option is what you want. By default, this is populated with Away mode, but you can add whatever you want there. If you un-did that and don't see this option at all, it's inside the "Modes to set based on time of day" section.

... in the Modes Manager app.

Thanks! Forgot to mention that important detail. (I assumed that's how it's being done; if you wrote a custom app or rule to handle this, you can, of course, do whatever you want in there, too...)
