Hi

I have an issue with my mode manager which doesn't seem to update based on being present at home or not (mobile phone). It used to work till the last few updated but a few weeks ago stopped working. I tried to reinstall the app on my iphone and even did a soft reset. Nothing seemed to solve the issue.

Can you help please?

I would double check the geofence settings on your phone. Somerhing may have been inadvertently changed.

Geofencing issues are always the hardest to resolve. Since you have an iPhone, can I make a suggestion based on something @jtp10181 wrote recently:

  1. Setup Homebridge on any computer that you have running all the time in your home.
  2. Create a virtual presence sensor/switch on Hubitat that you expose to Homebridge.
  3. Create an Apple Home automation that flips the state of that presence switch based on whether you are at home or not.
  4. Create a Hubitat automation that changes Mode based on the state of that virtual presence sensor.

The native geofencing within the iPhone that is used by the Home app is rock solid. This approach will let you take advantage of it.
