Mode Manager

I installed and set my modes Home - Night - Away. I have Home mode set to come on at a specific time and during the setup there was an option to inhibit that if the hub was in another specific mode, in my case I set it to Away. So if I'm away it won't go into Home Mode at the set time. This works but I can't seem to find that option anywhere now? I was looking to see if I set for my Night mode also..

You are looking for the checkmark in the "Skip?" column for "Away" mode in the "Set Mode at Times" table. You can set this for any mode, though that's the default. If you don't see the mode you want in the table (and have created that mode in your system already, done in Settings), hit the plus icon to add another mode to the table.

That's for the quick reply, but I understand the Skip column. The setting I set was presented during the initial adding the Mode and setting for time control. I can't seems to find the setting now.

Modes themselves are added in Settings > Modes. These don't do anything on their own and won't offer settings for time, etc., so I assume you mean something inside Mode Manager (which is one way you can automate modes, but not the only). In that case, from your description, the only thing I can think of that sounds like what you're asking about is what I described above. If that's not it, maybe sharing a screenshot of what you previously set up and perhaps another description of what you're trying to do would be helpful.

Well I figured out what I was looking for does not exist. I thought it was a setting I had set, but by default modes changes based on time will not activate by time of day if the current mode is Away.

Thanks for your time.

Was this maybe in the previous version of Mode Manager?

I just set up mode in the past week so everything is the current versions.

Sorry if I'm misunderstanding but that's what he was referring too. If you have Skip checked the mode will not change based on time.

Check the skip box for Night Mode and it won't/shouldn't change.

I’m all set with this, working as designed and perfect for my automations. Thanks for all the responses.
